Designer Birth Defects

Check out the link, I am not even going to say anything except THIS IS F#$%ING WRONG!

If you can prevent a life threatening disease, maybe I can see a purpose. But to intentionally make your kid a dwarf because you are. That is just misery loves company. Not that they are miserable, but there has to be some "outsider" feeling that goes with it.

When you have kids, you have sex, and nature decides from there. I would hate my parents if they gave me a birth defect on purpose. YES HATE, without a doubt, there is no growing up and saying I understand why you did this to me. HELL NO! I would say something more like you did this to me on purpose? F#$% OFF AND DIE, that is what I would say. Even making their kids deaf intentionally, that is SICK.
This makes a very good point even more valid. You need a license to drive a car or hunt, hell you need a license to drive a damn forklift at work, but any two idiots can have a kid or a whole bunch of kids. And any two idiots with money can now have kids with disabilities intentionally.

Here is a piece out of the article: Click on the post title to go to the article.
“Old fear: designer babies. New fear: deformer babies,” the online magazine Slate wrote, calling it “the deliberate crippling of children.”

OK so I rambled and ranted after saying I wasn't going to. But this is so disgusting, I couldn't help it.

Peter Boyle

First of all, he was 71 and it sucks when anyone dies, but 71 beats 17. From what I know he was a good, decent person and enjoyable actor. Here's to you Peter! My condolences go out to his family and those who knew him at a personal level. And Like I always say, it sucks to lose someone, but it sucks even more for them.

I don't know alot about his filmography and not going to look it up probably. But I can't remember watching a movie or TV show with him in it asn saying he sucks at this part. He was a good actor. My favorites were; Young Frankenstien with Gene Wilder, and The Dream Team with Michael Keaton, Christopher Lloyd and one of the Beattey's? Anyway when he is in the back of the van a singing "Hit the road Jack" and thinks he is Jesus. I love that show, hilarious..

He also played the part well on Everybody loves Raymond. The best comedy to me is when you stay straight faced even though you might have just said the funniest thing ever. Everyone around you is in tears and if acting you stay in character, if your with friends you let out a little smirk.

A week in the NFL

What a week in the NFL
The AFC was shaken up a little this weekend.
The Jaguars tough at home, Jags 44 – 17 over the Colts. Indy falls from 1st to 3rd. The Ravens take the 2nd spot with a 20 – 10 win over the Chiefs. And LT and the Chargers take the number one spot with a solid win over the Broncos 48 – 20. LT breaks S. Alexander’s single season rushingTD record with 3 games left to play. LT is at 29 TD’s and still making it look easy. LT also set a new record of fewest games to reach the 100 TD mark. The Chargers as a team have hit some records this year as well. I think one was having back-to-back comeback victories after trailing by more than 24 points. Right now they are number one and on fire. If they remain number one, and gain home field advantage it will be the first time in Chargers history. As far as who is this year’s MVP? I don’t think there is a question. Is that yet another record? Not that it is official yet, but has there been an MVP marked this by this point in the season? The Chargers have clinched their division.

A Touch of Class
I watched the end of the Cowboys – Saints game. This started off as a pretty good game, as I only checked the scores in the first half. It was also a battle for the number two spot in the NFC. By early in the second half it had become pretty lopsided late in the game. The Saints break into the “red zone” with a little under 3 minutes remaining in the game and 42 – 17 lead. Saints Coach Sean Peyton goes with a QB kneel down to run the clock off for 4 straight downs. Turns the ball over, on a kneel down, to the Cowboys. Cowboys Coach Bill Parcell has been around the league long enough and knows this game is over, also runs two QB kneel downs to finish the game. And with their 8-5 record still lead their division.

In the NFC
The Bears play the Rams in St. Louis tonight and even with a loss will still be on top of the NFC. A win, however would put them 2 games ahead of the Saints and closer to home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Currently the Saints in 2nd, Cowboys in 3rd, and the Seahawks in 4th. The Bears have Clinched their division.

Could we have a Bears / Chargers Super Bowl?

Here are some scores from Thursday and yesterdays action.

Thursday:
· Steelers 27, Browns 7
Sunday:
· Falcons 17, Buccaneers 6
· Vikings 30, Lions 20
· Eagles 21, Redskins 19
· Giants 27, Panthers 13
· Packers 30, 49ers 19
· Cardinals 27, Seahawks 21
· Ravens 20, Chiefs 10
· Dolphins 21, Patriots 0
· Bengals 27, Raiders 10
· Titans 26, Texans 20 OT
· Jaguars 44, Colts 17
· Bills 31, Jets 13
· Chargers 48, Broncos 20
· Saints 42, Cowboys 17
Monday:
· Bears at Rams

Happy Holidays

WTF?
How about Merry Christmas. Yeah I said it, Merry Christmas. This is ridiculous, I mean there are certain things this country was founded on. And yes some of those things happen to be religious beliefs. Myself, I am not an overly religious person, but I accept the fact that the United States of America was and is 1 Nation Under God. Yes and in GOD WE TRUST, should always be on our money, and 1 NATION UNDER GOD should be in the pledge of allegiance. And we should swear on a holy bible when in court in the USA. In any other country you might find yourself lucky to get a damn attorney. Oh by the way, the Chinese use a different calendar, so does that mean we can’t say Happy New Year any more? I mean it is not everyone’s New Year.

I am not even a fan of the holidays, it’s cold, everyone is out shopping for gifts and it just seems to go on and on. But what really pisses me off is our retail companies and people trying so hard not to offend anyone that they say happy holidays….
I am not against immigrants or people coming here to better themselves, but in some cases it requires sacrifices. You are still allowed to celebrate your religion and holidays of choice. But you should hear Merry Christmas when you walk into Walmart. THAT’S TOUGH, that is what we celebrate here in America. You may reply with what you celebrate. To me that is just like saying HI, HELLO, HOLA or ALOHA. They all cover the same point, a greeting.
However, English is the American language, learn it. When you go to a new country you have to assume a certain amount of their customs to get by. But the way things are here right now, is we will bend over backwards to help anyone. If I were to move somewhere else, they would expect me to learn their laws, language, religion. But if you come to America, we will change for you, IT IS WRONG.

It is time that we start to run this country on the principals it was founded on and stop bending over backwards to make everyone else happy. Stop sending $.70 per day to a foreign country when that same $.70 per day could go to needy children in this country.

Like Mancow’s slow burn. Madonna adopting a foreign kid? She is from Detroit, like Detroit doesn’t need help?
Hey you don’t have to go have way around the world to give help a good cause, there is probably one in your own neighborhood. OK, so I am ranting and off track....

Anyway, it is the United States of America, we speak English, and we have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. You are FREE to celebrate what ever you what here, but expect these things to always happen around you if you are here or come here.

Hey That's Not Nice...

Never guaranteed that… As a matter of fact nobody does, freshness guaranteed, but not niceness.

This will be nicest before 12/05/06 or guaranteed nice until 12/05/06 nope, nobody ever claims that.

Maybe you should just assume when talking with me, EXPLICIT LYRICS.

This is mostly for those who know me and they know what I may or may not say at any given time. Funny, maybe probably, but nice? Nobody laughs at nice, nobody even appreciates nice anymore.

I can be nice an even enjoy it. But it is very boring and can lead to false hopes. Some may actually think that is the way the world is...

The Red Pill Calls it Quits..

His last entry more that a week ago....
Because someone might know who he really is.
Because he thinks someone wants to hurt him.

How will he go on?
How will he manage? he spends every day writing on his blog or watching videos on youtube. Basically his only human contact was the blog, and he put a stop to that.
I think he will be back.
I think he likes the abuse that most people post to his site.

Well here is his last post.

I'm done.
It's time to put this blog to rest. It's been fun. bye.

Divorce! Who would have guessed?

Who figured this would last anyway?
Pam Anderson: Who I once thought was pretty classy, which maybe I was just a little naive. Or side tracked by her beauty. Pam is pretty much to a point of dating anyone that can bring her to the center of attention. Outside of their recent multiple wedding ceremonies have not drawn much attention. So here comes the divorce.

Bob Ritchie: No matter how much money he makes, he maintains the white trash image. Just do something with that hair.

My thoughts: So here we are with a divorce filed, stating they were happy dating and marriage has ruined it. OK maybe this is just me, but I don't believe that. Marriage is a legal agreement. It should not change your feelings or or the way you treat each other, that should all be extablished while dating. That is why people date, or in some cases for one hell of a story, or sex, or what the hell we are both famous. I say they are gettng divorced now, there is a good chance you will see them dating again in the near future. Either as a typical on/off again relationship or to "prove" the marriage ruined them.

Titus on FOX

I watched his special (1.5 hours) on Comedy Central, Sunday night. It reminded me how great the show was. It is freaking hilarious, or maybe, it is just because we share the same dysfunctions.

Come on FOX, bring TITUS back....

Natural Selection

What worries you most about the recent spate of school shootings?

Asked at the end of the story covering the recent Amish school shooting.

My thoughts.
That we today have made our society a place that we help and nurture so many people mentally unstable and just plain dumb and 100 years ago they and other dumb asses like them would not have been smart enough to live to adulthood. Now I feel it is our society that is helping them to live to adulthood and look at the paybacks, not only that but they reproduce.

I recently watched a Michael Moore film “Bowling for Columbine” pick any other country in the world and there is less than 300 murders annually. That may happen per stat here in the U.S. but the total for our country was over 11,000 why such the huge gap? Because if we clean up this country too many cops and homicide detectives will lose their jobs, we are maintaining balance.

Leaving natural selection in the hands of freaks and lunatics, not to the people who just live day to day on good old common sense. Common sense goes along way, but can’t beat freaks, nuts, suicidal “not going alone” assholes.

All here in the melting pot of the world….

In Memory of Emily Keyes

Random acts of kindness
“In memory of Emily we would like everyone to go out and do random acts of kindness, random acts of love to your friends or your neighbors or your fellow students because there is no way to make sense of this,” Gonzalez said. “It’s what Emily would have wanted.”

Very well said if you ask me. What an excellent approach to a meaningful memorial.

Emily was fatally shot Wednesday in a Bailey, Colorado high school.

Our sympathy is with her family and others involved in this senseless tragedy.

I am off to perform random acts of kindness, in memory of someone I have never met.

The James Hill Interview

JAMES HILL FOR CONGRESS
What does Iowa have that the other 49 states don't have? A man like James Hill running for congress, that’s what. Read this nearly 6 page interview done recently with Candidate Hill and find out why he is so different.
-TDK

TDK: Well Mr. Hill, it is obvious that you feel our government and the elected officials are corrupt. I am sure there are many others who share your views. Here is a quote from your site. “Ideas for laws can be submitted with out taking a congressman to dinner.” Does that mean that you would never discuss a new law over dinner?

Candidate Hill: In put from experts, constituents, people affected by legislation for better or worse can be picked up just as well in a mans office during work hours. I am very serious about exposing the abuse of public trust that’s traded for these free meals and “fact finding vacations” our legislators enjoy.

TDK: Well I what I mean is, people are not likely to forget that kind of statement. Especially when followed by a comment like this. “Our government can function with out a city full of lawyers whose only job is to bribe elected officials. This is again a problem of both parties.” Do you feel that brutal honesty can win an election?

Candidate Hill: Honesty has to win out eventually. I think it was Ronald Reagan’s quote about having to “lie if it is in your best interest”, well when you only seek out outcomes that are in “your best interest” you’ll end up lying quite a bit. That’s less of a knock on Dutch than it is a problem with our general attitudes. No one wants to fess up and take their lumps anymore. The parties especially need to look at how they operate and to what end. Remember they take in a lot of private money but a lot of tax money also supports the party structure so we deserve some control over them. Both of them.

TDK: Once elected, what next? I mean have you researched at any level what congressmen do?

Candidate Hill: I remember enough of government class to be able to function. The legislature is a body that enacts rules and guidelines, appropriates money for projects among other things. I am perfectly capable of working in a group towards any common good. Do you think I will have any friends in there with my attitude of ending the gravy train? Would any one of the sitting legislators work with me? If they wouldn’t it will only be more proof of just how addicted they are to the money.

TDK: Of course you will not please everyone. This will make you the black sheep. I mean campaigning without financial backing and being frank and honest. Does that bother you?

Candidate Hill: You can not take donations and work effectively, it contradicts human nature. When you rely on contributions to win you are going to take special care of the donors. I think voters are ready to take a chance and send DC a message by electing the guy that spends the least money campaigning and owes no debts to contributors.

TDK: Is there a possibility that even if you are elected that by being out numbered that all your efforts may go in vain?

Candidate Hill: My ability to run bills through will be hog tied I am sure. Or that is until I start posting details of the inner workings and back door deals. Nothing that would violate confidentiality of course but right now they call everything secret while we sit on the outside wondering what the people who are supposed to be our servants are up to. I only want two years of holding the magnifying glass over the Congress. It’s asking a sacrifice by my constituents for a greater good for all of the country.

TDK: I myself feel that any elected official (as a candidate) should receive a certain amount “air time” each, maybe even it should be free. I would say they can select the program in which during it airs, in a window of prime time hours. This could trickle down form presidency / national to congressman / local. What do you feel about that idea? To put everyone on the same playing field so to speak?

Candidate Hill: Definitely, the networks will whine like little bitches but remember, they will still be making huge profits with out election money. Set up a really good public access channel and let all candidates have equal time. If we are not willing to fund it then we deserve what we get. A volunteer body could be rounded up to check the facts in the ads. Candidates would lose air time for saying anything they can’t substantiate.

TDK: Pro life, yes I am too. Only in the sense that I was born less than a month before my mother turned 16, more like I am glad my mother was pro life. You bring up very good points about the number of babies that would be born each year without them 400 per day (OUCH) and the most impressive point. Instead of arguing about how to react to a pregnancy, let’s talk more about prevention. Eliminating unwanted pregnancy is the bet way to resolve the abortion issue Correct?
Would you take on an issue this controversial? Even organize the proposed need of more or better education and birth control.

Candidate Hill: I am pro living as I have stated. I can not believe that there is more compassion for a freezer full of eggs than there is for living breathing children on the lower end of the social spectrum in this country. Abortion is a terrible reality but I would never see Roe vs. Wade overturned without a very good safety net for kids who will be born without much love right from the start. It is the part of the issue no one addresses out loud.

TDK: What about drug addicted mothers who become baby factory trading sex for drugs? Who have many unwanted pregnancies and babies born addicted to drug(s). Some feel that women like this should be “fixed” so they can not bear children anymore. Your thoughts?

Candidate Hill: If you are a dude that has fathered or a woman that has more than three children you can not or will not care for, you should be paid a sum of money to under go some sort of sterilization process. I feel cruel even saying it but in the long run it would free up money to give the first three kids better schools and fund social support networks. Remember one smooth talking dead beat can father a hell of a lot of children, whether he intends to support them or not.

Franny: Do you have any views on HR 4411 internet gambling ban?

Candidate Hill: The big down fall I see with internet gambling is allowing the use of credit cards. I think any gambling should be in the casino or at a betting parlor or track with cash in hand. I do not know if any one has done a study on the numbers but I want to know how much of our dangerously high consumer debt is run up by betting money a person does not have.

Franny: Did you know that? There are exceptions to the proposed ban for betting on horse racing (special interests) but an individual can not play poker online. Does this raise or change your interest?

Candidate Hill: I have a sentimental attachment to the ponies but I do not think broadcasting races onto every PC in the world is the right thing to do. In the long run we would all lose. As far as live on the spot betting I prefer the horses because the industry creates more support jobs than casinos and it takes longer to lose money.

TDK: This country was founded as “One Nation Under GOD”, do you feel that it is about time we get back to that?
I mean we bend over backwards to please everyone who comes here, even illegal aliens. Isn’t it time that we take this country back to what it was built on and those who come here can accept the country for what it is, not change it to what their country was back home.

Candidate Hill: A person can respect God without proclaiming it every morning and a person can hear the phrase under God without suffering harm. I feel like this is a major distraction issue to keep us divided while we get robbed. I would leave the words in the pledge of allegiance simply because it does not hurt any one enough to invest the resources to remove it. Whatever your feelings on religion, in the end it will be your actions not you rhetoric that count. Religious fervor has been used to justify horrific atrocities in the past. Can our society use God’s word to instill a sense of right and wrong with out it becoming a club to beat those whose beliefs we don’t agree with?

TDK: Health care issues. A poor child versus a wealthy vegetable, who is going to be attended to, Any American, can answer that. How can we straighten this mess out? Like Canada, free health care, but it isn’t cheap to drink or smoke there. Back to the question, do you have any health care ideas?

Candidate Hill: Get your living will done now! I will take a bullet over a feeding tube any day. More people need to look at the Schiavo case and ask themselves; what if that was me? Make your decision now and get it notarized so the rest of us do not have to witness a sick spectacle like that again. Health care reform has to start with providers of care and coverage. What will they live without so it becomes more affordable? The question applies to insurance company CEO’s, shareholder’s, doctors, research scientist’s even hospital janitors. How rich should someone get of other people’s misery? There is a moral side to this issue that is ignored.

TDK: Views on Terrorism?

Candidate Hill: At this stage the public has no real perspective of the terror threat. I know I keep coming back to it but the money from the pro Israel lobbies and defense industry donors relies on a murky picture of what is really happening in the Middle East. We the people deserve to know these things to a point of risking operations. Right now everything is just “classified” to keep us guessing and letting our Congress and President spend, spend, spend. One thing we do need in the military effort is stronger enlistment incentives. We are beating the same units in to the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan and it is not fair. The Iraq operation has been a useless waste of human life from the beginning. Despite that view I am not going to get so hung up by it that I will see a single serviceman denied the support and care they have earned up on returning home no matter how much it costs. I still want to see the Neo Cons take over fighting the Iraq operation with mercenaries paid out of their own bank accounts. Bill Kristol wants a war with Iran so let’s give him an M16 and send him over their border.

TDK: Right to bear arms. This right is constantly challenged I do not like guns myself. But I feel taking the right for others to have them does not make me feel any safer. Registered gun owners are typically not the threat that protestors scream about. It is the stolen guns, or guns sold on the black market, and as some movies suggest guns sold by high ranking military officials. What is your view on gun control?

Candidate Hill: I do not own a gun but my son does. When he is old enough his uncle or my friends will teach him to hunt responsibly and have a healthy respect for fire arms. Gun ownership is a constitutional right so let’s not screw with it. If these heady times have taught us anything it is that we had better work for the preservation of the constitution and the rights granted by it. A low unemployment rate and good wages are still the best deterrent to gun or any crimes anyway.

TDK: I know you have mentioned that putting your personal life out, in the public eye for everyone to scrutinize. I suppose you might or may of already heard things like, he is just a drunk hillbilly. What do you say to those people? I mean you have basically named some of your own obvious faults.

Candidate Hill: Alcoholic Hillbilly, you mean! It is painful to wear my faults on my sleeve but it is my way of showing I will make real sacrifices to serve my district. The campaign also holds the voters to a higher standard, it asks them to look past the usual campaign fluff and identify with the candidate instead of any pre packaged image. Basically my whole intention when I decided to run was to make people think about our democratic process. The campaign style also puts my family through more stress than that of the average candidate, they don’t really like it but they understand the necessity for a campaign like this.

TDK: Do you think, anyone would try to harm or scare you out of the political race? Have you received any hate mail?

Candidate Hill: No hate mail, unless you count an offer of oral sex as vindictive! I am honored by the almost unanimously positive number of messages I have received. As for any fears, mine are of doing something really stupid more than someone doing something stupid to me!

TDK: Name the 5 most important issues of your campaign.

Candidate Hill:
1. Legislative Reform by:
a. Dismantling the lobbying industry.
b. Making the congress work year round so fewer amendments are necessary.
c. Making the campaign process transparent and fair.
d. Holding Politicos (including my self) accountable for indiscretions through asset seizure and jail time.
e. Enforce no payback rules after people leave office also. The Congress was not intended to create millionaires; it is supposed to be a body of public servants. If you want to get rich, stay in the private sector and work.

2. Social Security:
a. We can shore it up by putting our elected officials back onto it and cut their fat retirement entitlement.

3. Military:
a. We have to rely less on contractors so soldiers are in charge again.
b. Real auditing of spending. Throwing money at the military does not necessarily make stronger if the money is not used right.
c. Real concern for veterans. If a soldier comes back from a war with a wound or a head problem we pay them a wage as long as it takes for them to get better, not because it is cheap but because we owe them that.

4. Taxes:
a. Instead of seeing funding as an evil see it as a necessary evil to pass a stronger Republic to our children.
b. Get the money spent right by getting special interest lawyers and lobby representatives out of the committee meetings in the capitol.

5. Life quality:
a. Corporations must be taught responsibility. When we were railing in the eighties for less regulation we forgot that oversight and fair practice would go away with them. No company or person gets government money unless it has a firm plan to reinvest it in our people.
b. Keep an eye to the future. This war like all others will end and we will miss the rights we traded away for short term safety.
c. Fair treatment of workers. By employers
d. Fair treatment of employers. By employees

TDK: Are you prepared to be the ear of Iowa, you listen to what the people of Iowa have to say and react as their voice, the people’s voice. Can you really do that?

Candidate Hill: If they like my message and elect me that is exactly what I’ll be. Like I mentioned earlier it will be a sacrifice by this district to send a message. If I can fight for anything for my district it will be real renewable fuel incentives. Reward conservation also. Since I accept no oil corporation money personally or through any party or political action committee I feel I am the only candidate that can work for Bio Fuels with out one hand tied behind my back. My constituents will of course also gain the pride of having tried to enforce a real and fair change to their democracy by taking a chance on a guy like me.

TDK: Name something that you have in common with most of the world?
What makes you normal?

Candidate Hill: Right now I think there is a feeling among many of detachment and helplessness while the world spins out of control around us. I think it is time we grab the wheel.

TDK: What makes you different from the rest of the world?
Yeah what, about you, would make people say Freak?

Candidate Hill: The perception that what other people think is paramount to my existence. I don’t mean a lack of respect for others I mean selling out ideals or not doing what is right, to bolster ones image in the eyes of society. The idea that there are worse things to do than die poor freaks some people out too.

TDK: Dwyer and Michaels of Q106.5 www.2dorks.com in the quad cities want to get the word driver changed to driver’s on the Iowa state driver’s license. They say that is only more cause for people to make fun of the state of Iowa. Like the Acronym: Idiots Out Wondering Around. You know that things as minor as this will pop up as well.

Candidate Hill: The wording on your driver’s license doesn’t make us look stupid, electing superficial, power hungry and greedy Congressmen does. I like D&M’s anti traffic camera campaign better. If I can ticket you thru your vehicle because of someone else’s actions it opens up a potentially bad precedence, then can we charge United Airlines board of directors with murder because some idiots used their planes to kill 3000 people?

FRANNY: I don’t think we live in a "absolute" democracy. I like to call it a "limited" democracy. We elect a representative based on positions and they speak for everyone whether they flip after the election or not. It doesn’t seem right. It would be nice to have all individuals vote on a bill and majority rules.

TDK: What would you say to that? There are so many people that even if a elected official stays true to his public, his vote is actually as clear as mud, but counts as if it were black, and white.

Candidate Hill: A complete majority rule is stifled some what by the bill of rights. With technology advancing your idea could become possible, if it isn’t already. We can clear up the mud by enacting my aforementioned house reforms. If we get the billions that are paid in to politicians to get legislation to benefit a few people, majority rule might become the standard anyway.

TDK: One last question. If elected, do you feel that you would come thru for your state, and make re-election much easier? Can you make Iowa a better place to live.

Candidate Hill: I would never run again but I might put my name on the ballot and see what would happen. With an uncorrupted transparent legislature an elected public servants actions would speak louder than any cheap slogans.

TDK: Thank You Mr. James Hill for your time.

Candidate Hill: I thank you for taking the time to do this interview... Best wishes.

Please visit his site: http://www.jameshillforcongress.com/ We can't link it enough!
Best of wishes to Mr. Hill, his family and his state.

The Pirates Stand

James Hill for Congress (Iowa)

Honesty as a practice
What you see is what you get. I am the only drunken Pirate seeking office in this great nation. What a sad testimonial to our political system when a degenerate like me, feels like the most honest candidate on the ballot. I am not talking the chrome plated crap my opponents throw out. I am talking about deep from the heart honesty. This pirate believes that holding public office demands real sacrifice. Every aspect of my personal life must be laid to the blade and exposed. My medical history. My financial history. My employment history. My family history out in the open for your scrutiny. It is my offer to you. It will be my way of showing real sacrifice to serve you. We as voters have not asked enough of candidates. For the $150,000 annual salary, candidates should be subjected to intense public scrutiny.

Should have an interview with James Hill to post Real soon.

The Kyle MacDonald Interview - One Red Paperclip

TDK: What was your best trade ever ?
KYLE: red paperclip for a fish pen.

TDK: What was your worst trade ever?
KYLE: haven't made a bad trade!

TDK: Do you ever play poker?
KYLE: I've played it once or twice. Don't really like it. Much more of a "Go Fish" or "Crazy Eights" fan myself.

TDK: Why the paper clip?
KYLE: first thing I saw when I thought of the idea.

TDK: Was it all your Idea?
KYLE: no, I stole it from a kids game called bigger and better. I just put it on the internet.

TDK: Did this start out as a personal wager between you and a friend?
Like… I bet you can't do it
KYLE: no, I just wanted to see if it was possible.

TDK: Name something that you have in common with most of the world?
You know, what can label you as normal.
KYLE: My mom still cuts my hair.

TDK: What makes you different from the rest of the world?
Yeah, what would make people say Freak.
KYLE: My mom still cuts my hair.

TDK: With 14 trades from paper clip to house, that is a pretty good take.
Ever consider becoming a stock trader?
KYLE: nope.

TDK: What is the biggest selling item on your site?
KYLE: i dont' sell anything on my site.

TDK: If you could choose any profession in the world and instantly assume the talent or skills required to be successful. What would you want to be or do professionally?
KYLE: Freelance internet trader.

TDK: What do you think about Mark Cuban? http://sharesleuth.com/ He is going to influence stocks by his investigations and reports.
KYLE: I read his blog because he "shoots from the hip" and speaks for real. I have no idea about his outlooks on stocks or investments.

TDK: Favorite villain?
KYLE: Skeletor.

TDK: If you could pull of one crime, one time, with absolutely no chance of getting caught. What would it be and why?
KYLE: Speeding.

TDK: Who do you admire in the internet world?
KYLE: It's easy to answer email questionaires on the fly. I'm in Northern Ontario right now. Kenora. My girlfriend is driving. I'm riding shotgun. Trees are flying past. Way better than standing at a phone booth or something.

TDK: Do you plan on doing another trading adventure soon?
KYLE: Sure, we'll see!

TDK: You said that you were going to write a book?
a) More than one?
b) About what?
KYLE: About trading a red paperclip for a house.

TDK: About the paper clip trading, do you think anyone else could do it now?
I mean, it's been done, been there done that type of thing. Do you think there is still enough interest out there for someone to make it happen again?
KYLE: Sure, somebody'll figure out a way to do it again. They'll have to innovate to make it catch on though.

TDK: If you could have kept one of your other trades with the house what would it be and why?
KYLE: Nothing. It was all about trading up to the house.

TDK: Plans for the future. More trades, stocks maybe, merchandise, writing books, retire?
KYLE: You name it, I'll probably end up doing it. Trading stocks is probably my lowest of priorities though...

Thanks for the email interview Kyle!

THE RED PILL INTERVIEW

Franny: I guess to comment on the Redpill, I first have to give a little background on myself. I play online poker as a hobby. Nothing serious, I just enjoy it. Well the best way to learn anything is through internet groups and forums. I found myself lurking on poker forums for hours on end. I was spending more time on forums than actually playing poker. I never participate in the discussions…just lurk.
Well, The Redpill was a controversial character on every popular poker forum. He was often banned for flying off the handle, and mistreating other members. I started reading his blog a little over a year ago. His humility is priceless. His writing skills, in my opinion, are very good. Whether he is writing about living in his brother's “crummy” house, or getting robbed while delivering pizzas, he usually has something interesting to say. His views are skewed, but he is pretty passionate about them, which holds some merit. Lately, the Pill’s Blog is lacking something, but it is still one of the first things I check in the morning. His blog was a huge hit, his forum was a huge hit, though short lived. Quite a few people will probably disagree with me, but in my opinion, this blog is one of the must reads on the internet. Now unleash all of the HEAD>>>>>OVEN comments on me. Good luck trading Pill!
- Franny

THE RED PILL INTERVIEW

TDK: What was your best rake in:
a) A Day?
Redpill: I think $400. Playing some headsup NL matches on Pokerroom. It's been so long. Hard to remember.
b) A Week?
Redpill: $950. It was the week where I made $400 in one day I believe then I had a good next few days to finish the week.
c) A Month?
Redpill: I never really kept track but the first month I started, I did well since I was putting in so many hours. I wasn't very good at keeping records. I did write down my withdrawals and deposits involving Neteller, though.

TDK: What were your worst losses in:
a) A Day?
Redpill: I lost $1000 in one day playing NL heads up matches. LOL. I think it was the week or month after winning $1000. It should be in my blog I think. In blackjack, I lost $2500 in about 30 minutes time back in my card counting days.
b) A Week?
Redpill: $1000 since after the $1000 loss, I pretty much stopped playing after that. I take losses pretty hard.
c) A Month?
Redpill: Same as above.

TDK: What made you say the Hell with Poker?
Redpill: I think I just really hate the game. It's something about competing directly against other people that really makes me angry. Also, I just couldn't figure out the proper way to play certain hands. I would win some money and then stop playing immediately. I think the appropriate thing to do is to keep playing when you are winning but after I would win a little, I would get so scared to lose it back that I would stop. After about 6 months of playing and having even less bankroll than in the beginning, I just finally wanted to move on. I could see that I wasn't going anywhere.

TDK: Why stock trading?
Redpill: I never thought I'd get into it but someone was sending me these spame-mailers but they had strange titles on them like "Jill just broke her back" or something strange like that and I would open them to see what it was and it turned out to be recommendations on what stocks to buy. I like mysteries so this tugged at that part of my brain. If they would have made the title, "YOU'RE A WINNER!!! $5000 FOR SIGNING UP!!!". I would have completely ignored it. Upon investigation, I found out that it was scam but I ended up finding out that I could possibly really get into trading and do something there. Of course, if I'm not any richer in a few months, you'll find out that I'm probably flipping burgers now.

TDK: Did you research this a lot or just dive into it?
Redpill: Dive in.

TDK: Name something that you have in common with most of the world? You know, what can label you as normal.
Redpill: My parents are divorced as are many other people's. Actually, that's about it. I've lived a very strange life that some aren't completely aware of and that I don't talk about. There came a time in my life when I had to reject the bullshit of the world and live the way I wanted to live. It was actually very necessary to my survival. Some won't be able to understand that, and your imagination may not even be able to figure out how I could say that but it's true.

TDK: What makes you different from the rest of the world?

Yeah, what would make people say, Freak.
Redpill: I think I've either figured out some things that others haven't through circumstances in my life OR

TDK: Name your favorite 3 conspiracies
Redpill: 9/11 conspiracy. This is a recent thing for me. I used to have apoker forum and someone wrote about the 9/11 conspiracy. At the time, I gave no thought about it at all. I thought it was nuts. Then after that, a month or two later, I watched a couple youtube.com vids on the subject. I called my mom up and talked to her about it and told her what they were saying. She told me that it was a bunch of nonsense and they can say anything they want on there. I left it at that and thought that my mom was probably right. Well, a few weeks later, something said to go back and watch some more videos and read more info on the subject so I did. Then something happened to me one morning after a full weekend of watching 9/11 conspiracy videos and reading conspiracy websites. I felt like I had a revelation of some type. I stood up out of my chair and stared at the TV and cupped my hand over my mouth in absolute horror. I think I finally understood what was really happening. I think understood why all my life, I had internally wrestled with the idea that something just wasn't right about our country and about the world we live in. It just didn't make sense that I was born into some strange world where 40 hour work weeks were the norm. What the hell is that? That's not God. And it was certainly against whoever created me. Seems to me that all these investions are things to keep us blinded from the truth. The invention of the automobile was not good for mankind. It is keeping us apart from each other. My other two conspiracies I guess are also related to the Big Brother government that we live in. What happened to Nicolas Berg? Also, look up information on Oklahoma City Bombing. I'm not saying there is or isn't a cover up but it could be. I used to watch Unsolved Mysteries and I guess these things appeal to that part of me as well.

TDK: Are you religious?
Redpill: After knowing what I think I know, I think religion is actually something created by the machine to make us believe that we are living right and good when in reality, we are actually supporting the machine. I don't believe the Bible is all there. I think some parts are missing and I think some parts might have actually been re-written. Whether I'm right or not, I think Jesus would want me to question things. Only ones who doesn't like information and knowledge is the evil ones. I'm talking real information, not the crap that is fed to you in your schools and on TV. I think it's funny how we kill off the Indians and take their land and we call it "Manifest Destiny" but if that happened in the Middle East, it's called "genocide".

TDK: Do you think religion is a conspiracy?
Redpill: see above comment

TDK: Well I mean it could be, science is proving evolution every day.
TDK: I read an article today that said they are closer to solving the evolution of earth with each new discovery.
Redpill: What???

TDK: Do you think just maybe like the old saying that; If you say it, hear or see it enough that you’ll believe it. What about this theory? The bible could have been written by Stephen King’s ancestor, obviously Stephen was not around when it was written.
Redpill: What?

TDK: I have a couple of Blogs, mostly for my own entertainment. This is my first one
http://thedollarkidd.blogspot.com/ A million Ideas, a Dollar a Piece. Maybe you have checked it out, maybe not. Anyway, I wrote a post on there about Red Pill Gear. What the hell most athletes make more off endorsements than the sport.
TDK: Would you try something like that?
Redpill: Sure but as far as getting filthy filthy rich off something, I think there would come a point that I would start giving some people some money, too. I wouldn't just accumulate like Bill Gates. I think once I became a millionaire, the next amount of money after, I would start looking for people to give it to. I would look for poor people, to give money to. I wouldn't give it to charity since they seem to be apart of the machine. I'd bypass the middle man, and hand it right to them.

TDK: What types of things would you want for merchandise?

Redpill: lol. You are getting serious with this thing. Maybe T-shirts. Idon't know, man. I like taking money from people who have a lot of it. I'd hate for someone to spend their last few bucks on redpill merchandise. I'm just saying.

TDK: Any catchy slogan you would use?
Redpill: "I'm anti-slogan".

TDK: If you could choose any profession in the world and instantly assume the talent or skills required to be successful. What would you want to be or do professionally?
Redpill: I'd be President of the United States. Once I became president, Ithink I'd change a lot of things. I think everything would have to be re-done. Just tear everything down and start brand new with new people in there and with checks and balances so that what is happening now could not ever happen again. In my way of thinking, though, being a professional that makes a lot of money and being a poor person that has nothing, is the same thing. You know, I don't really want to be anything anymore because this world makes me sick.

TDK: What do you think about Mark Cuban?
http://sharesleuth.com/ He is going to influence stocks by his investigations and reports.
Redpill: I have no idea.

TDK: You made a comment do not vote republican or democrat in the upcoming 2008 presidential election. Are you suggesting Red Pill for President?
Redpill: No.

TDK: Outside of occasional poker games, will you get back in hard and heavy? Some comments say, play poker and show ‘em how it’s done “Pill Style”
Redpill: Whether I do or not, it's the same thing. Success and failure are one and the same.

TDK: Women. What is the Red Pill’s ideal woman?
Redpill: Someone who is very much seeking to be like Christ. Someone who loves good and hates all forms of evil.
TDK: If you could pull of one crime, one time, with absolutely no chance of getting caught. What would it be and why?
Redpill: Next question.

Franny: Who do you admire in the poker world, who is your favorite professional?
Redpill: Probably Barry Greenstein since he gives to charity at least. I like Phil Hellmuth, too.

Franny: Why, in the past, did you have so much animosity toward Daniel Negreanu?
Franny: Why so much animosity in general?
Redpill: They banned me from their Poker forum for no reason. They never told me why. Daniel Negreanu has his head so far up in the clouds that I doubt he's ever coming back down. He supposedly runs his poker forum without actually running it. That's pretty funny. He has no idea what is happening in his own forum. I don't even post there anymore or on any poker forums anymore because that part is over for me.

TDK: What is the deal with hating your dad?
Redpill: If you are mean to me, I won't like you. It's that simple. My dad was mean to me almost everyday. It was like living with Adolf Hitler.

TDK: Plans for the future? Poker, Stocks, Merchandise, What does the Pill have planned?

Redpill: I have something in the works now that I'm excited about. Like I said, though, if I make too much money, I'll start giving it away. Right now, I don't have any money. I'm in the red actually.

Thanks Pill for taking the time to do this, so far exclusive, interview.

Controversy, poker, conspiracy or whatever. We both say link it, not for the quality or quantinty, but for a view that most do not bring to the forefront. This is a mad site, that keeps you on the edge of your seat. That is as long as your not afraid to hear someone's opinion because the Pill definately has one of those.

One Red Paperclip

This,One Red Paper Clip, and the Red Pill is where it all started.
By Franny and I going back and forth with arguements about his trades.

Take a look, read the comment. This was actually all on my Blog to start. Franny made a comment about my comment on the red pills Blog. Then I brought up the paper clip guy, and it was back and forth from there.

An Act of Love

An act of love or Putting a Loved One to Sleep

This is truly an amazing Story that Franny stumbled on, click on the title (above) to read the article.

This is really about suicide as most people see. I had an uncle 10 years my senior who was a mentor to me, and he committed suicide at 34. No note or nothing, so to me it is suicide. His back was fused together and had possibility of landing in a wheelchair, though he never did. He received SSI, as he started paying taxes at 13 years old, and due to his broken back at 23 or 24 could no longer work. He often told me of switching back and forth between booze and pain killers, as after so much of either they lost their effect on the pain. Like I said I don't know his reason so I call it suicide.

This story is more about ending you life because you have out lived the quality of life. This also was an elderly woman, and had lived the most of her life not that it makes death is any easier on her family. This is a story of a family helping a loved one pass. This was done with proper guidlines and professionals at her side. It was also several steps, so that she had a chance to go back, or quit at any time. Governed properly, I believe this has a place in our society.

To me this is should be a legal option. We have the right to put our pets to death without being able to communicate or gain their consent. We constantly battle whether or not it should be legal to abort a pregnancy, that too is a life without a voice. Well that's another story, and to stay on track, this is a person of sound mind who does not want to suffer and chooses death over the struggles of immobility or other permanent conditions depleting the quality of life. This is a very touching story of a family that pulled together to do what nobody wanted to do, but what was best for the person that they all loved.

Over a year ago, after 3 days of my dog not being able to walk, and a trip to the local vet. I went 100 miles for another opinion. I was told, after an MRI, that my 7 year old dog would never walk again (due to his hind legs having no feeling) by a specialist in Chicago. They said he had a tumor that grown into his spine and surgery would only gain him a couple of months at best. I went there hoping to find out it was only a ruptured disc. He said that they could put him down before I picked him up, or they could also dispose of him as well. I said let me make this clear I will be there first thing in the morning and he better be alive. My dog was walking again 3 days later. They called 3 months later and asked if I had put him down yet, I said no he is walking. The very same Doctor, said oh, I must have incorrectly diagnosed him. I hung up. He is now 8 and can jump into my truck and stand against a tree.

I say Link it!
